Personally I think your post is sick, pathetic and grubby.

You want to letch over private photos of an individual who hasn't sought this publicity, but could be compromised, embarrassed and even endangered through no fault of their own. Its attitudes and behaviours like this that give oxygen to these hacking scroats.

I disagree with the no fault of her own, what you do in the privacy of your own home is your business and should stay private but (and particularly if are a celebrity) if you are stupid enough to to store images where they can be hacked, then you have to take some of the responsibility if they get out. Store them offline on a DVD or a portable drive, its no secret that there are people out there searching out this sort of thing.

That's victim blaming and is also wrong. One small step from that to "she shouldn't have got drunk and she would have been safe...".

Blame and responsibility rests only on the shoulders of the criminal who hacked, not the victim of the hack.

Not sure victim blaming is the right thing to do. She may have believed that she had sufficient security and didn't imagine she would be the victim of a hacking attack. Why should she? Surely everyone has a right to believe that their data should be safe.

Imagine if your daughter was in a relationship and had similar images and these ended up all over the internet after a split that a relationship. Can you imagine how she would feel, how you would feel? Private means private. No one has the right to hack anyones account or publish private images without the consent / permission of the indivduals concerned.

These low life hacking scroats only do this because there are sad, pathetic, grubby little perverts out there that feed on this stuff. They are as much to blame.

Why anyone would let someone take intimate photos of you or even want someone to take or keep them is totally beyond me. That's pervy, be it the person posing or the person taking the photos.

Surely, if you've let these photos be taken, you must be aware there's a fair chance someone you don't want to view them is going to view them? Rolling Eyes
