To be honest there was some interesting comments when the brownish padded evelope arrived at home
SWMBO...said something like .....uyeeh...this feels interesting.....but this soon turned into a whats this then!!!...
Obviously I calmly replied that this is (yet again) a piece of "essential kit" and any self respecting Disco3 owner is required to have one......pause
SWMBO...so what do you do with it....
Hmmm....you stuff it in the .....and to honest from this point on I may just get ... I do believe such things are not good for the engine?
Anyway.......cheers ND for this "essential piece of kit".....can´t wait for the air-jack.......now I wonder how I´m going to explain that.....

Stripped the Nodosh bung down today and re coated all the steel parts in Teflon for smooth running - not necessary I hasten to add, I just did it because I can.

When you find a way to do it...let me know...The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Some of them have required a dab of teflon fork grease on assembly, but on the whole haven't needed it. I did toy with doing all of them, but as they are going to rattle around in various cubbys, bags and boxes I figured the grease will just a) collect debris and b) deposit itself on everything so unless I found one to be excessively stiff on assembly it's gone out "stock".
Juan, no problem running your engine with the one pipe at idle as all the gas exits via the other pipe (all the pipes from the manifold join up, then split for twin tailpipes) I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Hi Alan,
See I'm not confirmed, did you get my paypal payment on the 11th? Let me know if not arrived and I'll check it out!
Cheers, Richard.Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!
Yup, it's there. For some reason the notification email didn't come through. The 11th was the day that Paypal chose to put my account through an automated money laundering check, despite me having completed all the requirements previously. Paypal owe me a new DECT phone after I got so fed up trying to get any sense out them that I threw one of the handsets out of the window in disgust
Want me to post it or will you be at the SE meet? Big grovels for the FUBAR. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Glad it meets your bung expectations, oh two-headed one Not a lot of know-how on my part, consider me the facilitator rather than the design brains I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
