Power steering gone .. fluid leaking from somewhere
This is the 4th time Iv broke down in a few months .. not happy
I recon a hose has been rubbing on something.. had a radiator hose do the same thing after new engine was fitted
Not much help now Ade but seen it a few times when removing an engine from D3 D4s the power steering pipe normally gets forgotten, you start lifting the eng out by which time the metal power steering pipe gets bent, they notice remove pipe but forget to straighten the pipe back up as there in the middle of taking the eng out, by the time its out all is forgotten, new eng goes in and if there not paying attention thats what can happen and from memory its the air con pulley which rubs through the pipe
Not from experience of course well forgot the pipe but have always checked when new engs back in
Hope you get back up and running soon Ade and enjoy the rest of your hols Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.

Mine gave up just before I was heading off to the Le Mans Classic one year. OK, it's a MY11, but it was two sealing rings ( LR009346 & LR020210) costing less than £4 and a bill from the $tealer for £200!
Good luck.

I like the look of that adapter. While I have one of Uncle Ray's setups already, because my trailer is a narrow track, it does suffer from the occasional wobble due to the length of the drawbar.
Could this adapter be what I need to act as an increase in the drawbar length and therefore minimise the wobble? If it is, how long an adapter could you get away with?
