Good find. Now a stupid question...
My Disco doesn't have the clips so my mats roam freely around the car and need pulling back into place from time to time. Those clips you linked to look like they probably just screw through the carpet and could therefore be fitted if no clips were there before.
Since posting the link probably means you've likely needed to fit/replace clips recently, do you think it would be possible/practical/advisable to retrofit some of these to my car?***GONE*** 2007 XS Manual in Wet Weekend (Stornoway Grey) ***GONE***

i only found one of theses still in my carpet , bought some new mats that had the holes already tailored into them
then searched and found the new clips as per link
if ur mats have the holes in them i don't see why these won't fit
they are exactly the same as the land rover ones
if ur mats haven't fit any holes i would assume u would have to get a plastic collet to fit first before fitting these
as i don't know what would happen if u drilled a hole in the mat then screwed these in
think there are some different types of clips, maybe some of the other guys will tell u what they look like and how the mat has to be tailored to accept them

My mats definitely have the holes in them, I was wondering more about fitting the clips into the carpet in the car because I don't have them already. Do you reckon these would just screw into the carpet (with a little persuasion)?***GONE*** 2007 XS Manual in Wet Weekend (Stornoway Grey) ***GONE***

just done mine
there wasn't a hole in the back and just used a flat blade screwdriver to make a little hole in the carpet and they just screwed in with no problems
will take a pic later and add it for u

if anyone is interested found a place that sells the mat clips
are exactly the same as the original
just wished to pass it on in case someone else may be looking for them
