It is not working, it screeched at me and the handbrake will not to on. When I pull the switch, I can hear the motor running, but nothing happens. I have been told that the threads inside will have been stripped. 2005 TDV6 SE - Cairns Blue

If you follow DM's post you will end up with a fully working Epb, the worst part of the job is getting the cover off and unjamming the brass threaded rod.

Unfortunately I do not have the technical knowhow to do this!!! (I would love to be able to). So unless someone is willing to come down and help me Wink then I am going to need to replace it!! 2005 TDV6 SE - Cairns Blue
