CD Player fault

CD Player faulty ..
Hi Everyone - I have just collected my Disco 3 today (2005 HSE) and tried to put a cd in the player and the screen shows "no disc ...choose 1-6"
But it feels like there is something Jammed as it wont allow me to put a disc in the slot ..

Forgive me for asking a "typical woman"question however - should I take it back to the garage -
as it came with a 3 month warranty (allegedly) or is there a simple solution I can try please..?

I dont want to force a disc in in the event there could be something jammed in already and dont want to cause more issues etc..

Thanks in advance for your advice
Michelle

Presumably you pressed one of the numbers on the keypad (1-6). Did you try different numbers?

Hi Everyone..
Thank you for your advice ...the menu did take me to the load disc ..but I am unable to actually load the disc into the slot - its as if something is already in the slot blocking the diisc entry but i cant see anything..

(Pressing the numbers hasn't worked either as I havnt got any discs in it)

Will try again tomorrow.

Many Thanks again x

Hi Michelle, I know when I first got mine I found it really difficult to get discs in and out. Being "a typical man" Whistle I didn't read the manual and pressed the eject button so hard I broke it Embarassed

Only when I resorted to reading the book did I get it - forgotten again now of course.

Not saying there is or isn't a fault with yours, but well worth reading the manual to follow what was for me instructions that were a little counter intuitive. Good luck Thumbs Up
