I've got a transmission fault warning coming up. Put my D3 in automatic to go forward and although the engine revs the car won't move. Reverse seems ok. Tried manual. Will move forward in manual but not every time. Any ideas?

Thank you. Reading your link I think it could well be that as the symptoms described i.e. gear shift becoming sticky and gears slipping when cornering are exactly what I have been experiencing. More precisely gears seem to slip when accelerating away from low engine revs, for example, taking off from a roundabout or pulling away after crawling.
Getting someone to come out to take it into garage on Monday so I'll show them your link.
