Looking at starting to do a few mods to my D4, looking at underbody protection first.
I'm just a little confused with the difference between the Prospeed front guard and the D44 steering guard.
They both look very similar however the Prospeed says it protects the lower edge of the bumper, and steering whereas the D44 states front bumper and the engine sump.
Is the D44 just a longer plate protecting more? As Prospeed offer a seperate sump guard.

I use D44 ones and they are awesome
cant say bad word about ProSpeed ones but were outside my price bracket but provides much better and complete set including mid section of the vehicle while D44 is sectioned

Thanks for this.
Think I'm going to go for the D44 and get it Raptor coated.

If you live anywhere near a galvanising plant it may pay to get it galved as the finish literally lasts forever and always looks tidy even when beaten up.
I bought some rocksliders/sump guards for my 90 a few years ago and paid extra for them to be galved, they soon lost the shine and are now dull grey, BUT are totally rust free and as good as the day I fitted them and needed zero maintainance, my kind of product!
Even went so far as to have the new rear cross member galved before i welded it on.

Don't Galv Alu!
But will be coating my rock/tree sliders with Raptor and thinking of doing all the other accessories too. There's a place down the road from me which specialises in Jeeps which does it. May be the wrong manufacturer but they do a cracking job!
Check it out - https://jeepey.com/services/raptor-coating/#

Of course not
I'm just saying despite it being a Jeep, it doesn't look half bad the finish they've got with the Raptor is v.nice
