the 3L diesel in the D5 is not quite the same engine as in the D4 - it only has one turbo and some other minor changes.

this is why I was asking for a link to an incident, because this is the first I hear about the "new" 3L v6 spanning its cranks --

The current D5 engine is twin turbo. The first year of D5 was single turbo.

Yes, they do. Thats twin turbo as well.
