Well... I ditched those plans. Mainly because I realised spacers would make me track all over tha place because of the grooves formed on our motorways. Also I really don't need a wider turning circel. Just not worth it.
So I decided do paint my 19" too and will fit Scorpion ATR on those. THhe 18" will be for sale freshly painted.

An American forum project D4 is running a mild spacer and has D3 SE style 18s on it.
It has the 5.0 v8 engine and is a 2012 model.
So. Against all the rest of people. It can be done.

Yup, thos wont work. But there is a guy that has developed a steel rim for the 3.0 D4 with the bigger brake discs. They will be available in the UK as I understand it.

Well, lot's of things are possible with mods... http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JOyi5o9fiuQ/VkPc...640/11.jpg
But really, I'd rather not grind and/or cut. A clearance that small will also trap debree and might damage caliper and wheel.
