Hi
I was chatting with RLD and ordering one of his wheel covers when it was noted than any 12 digit number gets automatically turned very confusingly into an Ebay link inluding in PMs.
Martin, this is for you I guess - you might want to disable the "VigLink" extension in phpBB settings and it will stop happening.

No, this isn't anything to do with VigLink.
This is a convenience feature I added to the forum code myself. The reason is people do post up eBay item numbers only rather than links, this code it to a handy link automatically.
It can be switched off for certain numbers by wrapping it in [code] and [/code] tags which will prevent the forum code interfering.
I assume it tripped up on a parcel tracking number or similar? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Ah yes - that is it. yes it was jumping into PM's and changing tracking numbers into ebay auctions!
