Are D5 middle row seats usable?
With the D5 available in showrooms in some countries and many opinions made so far, I have choose to start a poll. We won't have a D5 at dealer till may, months away.

perfectly usable for adults with short shin bones.
The five seat accommodation for adult sized adults is there......I mean seat comfort that works on long journeys....I ain't going to look any more....it will be something else.BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
I have had 2 adults in the back seats of mine for about 1.5 hours (one of them is 6' 1") and the only complaint from one of them, was that the seats feel firmer than my old D4, although that my be because they are new

So we are averaging almost 50/50 on a love or hate middle row seats. 7 against and 9 for. It's not as one-sided as I though.

Ah, but have you rode back there?
I agree, friends are not going to say they don't like your new ride.

So what we are saying. If anyone slags the car off its insightful criticism. If they say anything complementary it's only to save your feelings.

My 12 year old son be does about 15k a year sat in the middle of the 2nd row between his twin sisters ( I know I really feel for him) he is lanky but commented most about the seat back with him bashing his back backwards and forwards saying it's solid. I didn't take it any further at the time but reading this will be taking him to have a closer look before I sign anything. He said the brand new FFRR was comfy we had on test which personally I was more worried about for him.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

So? I didn't say it wasn't Could be deemed more worrying if a kid says a +1 seats more comfy than a full size seat.
I Just said he said his first experience of the FFRR was "comfy" his first experience of the D5 was the backs hard. Which I dismissed until this thread.
More investigation needed for me personally.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten
