| Rear passenger door won't unlock! |

Gents my door will not open in anyway! So only means I have to get the door card off! I've just been looking at this link http://www.disco3.co.uk/wiki/Rear_Door_Latch_Replacement which will be mega helpful! But does anyone have a tip to get the door open?

The problem is the motor that operates the latch, make sure your battery is fully charged by leaving a charger on overnight, try thumping the door from the inside and operating the remote at the same time, every time you unlock try the door they have a mysterious way of suddenly operating, they usually fail the other way round(they don't lock) although it may have not been locking for a while and you have not noticed.
Following on from the excellent guide, split the actuator when you have got it out(3 screws), lift the large motor out and carefully open it, wash the armature in electrical solvent, mentholated spirit or lighter fuel, reassemble and you've saved yourself £100  you can test if it works by simply plugging it into the door loom before you refit.
The motor just gets clogged up with carbon dust! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I only mentioned I was going to upgrade to a D4 and she throws a hissy fit at me! The battery is fully charged! I'm pretty sure it's the cable that's broke away inside! Thanks for the reply!

Further on from this, I can't get the inner or the outer handle to open the door! I've tried the lock buttons and nothing! Any other help appreciated before I try to find away to take the door card off while the doors closed

After fixing both upper and lower tailgate issues my rear passenger door will also not open. Have trawled the site looking for a way but no joy.
A few people have posted but no responses. Has anyone got any idea how to open a door?

Mine was stuck locked for a few weeks and nothing I tried worked. Then it was suggested here holding the latch open press the lock and then unlock buttons over the stereo several times. After locking/unlocking probably 10 times it stopped locking and a further lock unlock and the door opened

I have a problem with my RH side rear not opening from the inside. checked the child lock and its not that.
Has any one had this issue as I am trying to avoid a door card of and fiddle session.
