Disc 3been long time up drive .key glob not opening and key in passenger door turns but can't open

Could be flat car battery too, you could put some power to your tow electrics and try unlock again with the remote.

Get a good brick haha only messing follow that link and you will get into it my battery went dead in fob... put some wd40 in lock on passenger door lock and work it not too much to snap the key

Before you split the key...

Try charging it..
If you have an oral B electric toothbrush....?
Placing the key very near to where the toothbrush usually sits it will re charge the key fob....leavevthere overnight.
You can open the passenger door with the actual key blade - you have to remove the small rectangular cover at the RHM side of the door handle - again by inserting the key blade into the rectangular slot beneath this cover.
When you are in the Disco you can open bonnet to re charge the actual vehicle battery (if that is "flat" too)

You don't split the key to change the key bateery unless you really have to...

Have tried passing door but key turns right and left but not opening .got flob opened but canny figure out how battery comes out ,jme
