I just came on the forum tonight to see about getting a towbar for my D3... after not quite getting around to looking into installing the necessary wiring loom for the past 3 years I finally removed the plastic cover today and to my surprise found the sockets already there!

So do I just need the towbar itself? If so I'll take yours forever Thumbs Up

(pic attached of my rear end- a bit more rust than expected too Sad )

Ah yeah, didn't think of that.. there's hardly a speck of rust anywhere else so ithat seems highly likely

Yes you just need the towbar that I have, it's a removable one all D3/D4 fit, you are lucky to have the electrics as that's the expensive but Smile

ok sold! I may be going to Bournemouth from East London at some point this weekend so I could swing by your way if you're about (assuming the D3 electrical probs dont get any worse by then Neutral )
