am planning to get a roof rack - unsure between 3 simple bars & a full expedition G4 style -can anyone advise whether there's a "significant" difference in wind noise and/or fuel consumption please ?

I have the LR roof bars on mine at the moment. Been on for a while as been using them for carrying some long wood and don't notice them. Haven't noticed any drop in mpg. Done plenty of motorway trips!

I have a prospeed rack on mine. No noticeable noise or mpg difference .

I have a Hannibal rack. No differnce in noise or consumption.
I like it because it is flat. Easy to load and I can get full sheets of ply etc on the roof. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
