Quick question - possible sticky brakes

Hi,
I've got a quick question - on a D3 how quickly do the brake lights extinguish when the brake pedal is released?

I've noticed on mine that if I very quickly remove my foot from the brake pedal, it takes a moment before the brake lights go out.

I ask as possibly related - I did have a sticky rear nearside brake caliper, which I sorted out. However I heard a quiet brake squeak in slow moving traffic earlier. When I stopped (11 mile journey through london), I felt the wheels, and all 4 wheels felt luke warm to the touch. I will take the rear hubs off and check the EPB pads condition, and clean and adjust on my next days off, but I'm wondering whether the slow to turn off brake lights could mean that the brake pedal linkages are a little sticky, therefore binding all 4 brakes at once every so slightly.

Thanks in advance!

They are not instant mine certainly are not.

The cheap laser temperature guns are very handy for this sort of thing.

Thank you.

Yes, I bought a laser temp gun when my rear caliper stuck last time, I'll take it out with me today and measure
