V8 supercharged
Hi am looking at buying a V8 supercharged range rover sport and looking for a few answers and using my disco as a daily and very occasional use of the sport would the D4 screen fit in it the same way it does in the D3 and i believe the sport is based on the discovery chassis so would a hidden winch mount from a D3 fit also can the IID tool be used on the both cars if i pay for the extra looking forward to the reply's Discovery 3 se gone

Yes the iid will work. Will read fault codes for £0.
Suspension adjustment, key programming would be extra on a 2nd Vin.
Don't know what you mean by the d4 screen

No, the minimum size over the Supercharged's brakes is 19".
I've decided to go for a 2012+ model, as these have the better SatNav and the Terrain Response is buttons instead of the dial.--

There are some threads talking about 18" compomotives fitting over the brembos if you remove or modify the anti-squeal weights from the calipers.
Make sure you check out the 'what's your mpg' thread on the RRS forum before you buy a supercharged.2008 TDV8 Sport HSE

I had an FFRR supercharged (2007 facelift)
It was 13-14mpg around town and low 20s on the motorway. If I drove VERY economically I could get 26mpg on the motorway but that was allowing HGVs to overtake and generally not enjoying the fact I had a 4.2 supercharged lump there.
Great fun but the fuel bills will absolutely be worse than your man maths will ever try to quantify - it WILL be worse!! MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Naks that was one of my questions as i have a 2012 sat nav screen fitted in my 2005 discovery and i wanted to know if it would also fit in the sport as they are the same chassis and the 2012 sat nav maps are older than the one i had in my 2005 set up while everything else on the later screen i dont think the sat nav is any better but the graphics are Discovery 3 se gone

Ah, thanks for that info, Geoff!
I do prefer the graphics and the menu layout of the 2012+ models, but first I have to sell my D4.--
