for clarification, I was referring to the bottom right of the screenshot, which says 'Present' for the Water in Fuel parameter

Pic doesn't show up sadly. However I've had this warning twice - both times went away with no ill affects. I read you can bleed the filter which would have been my next step.

I'm sure somebody will be along with the definitive answer but is that the sensor saying the water is there or saying that the sensor is fitted?

sensor is indicating there's water in the fuel

there's as mentioned a drain on the filter to get rid of the water

as water is heavier than fuel, will sink to the bottom

normally gets in there from condensation
