+1 for halfords I sold a a 4k Snapon Box and replaced with two Halfords Professional Sets. Yes different poles with regards to quality but absolutely adequate for my needs and allowed me to buy a LOT more toys with the 3.5k left over
Was the one you sold a KRL? as I find myself looking at them more and more

Full time addict paying his pusher in cash - still not a pretty sight. You just keep telling yourself you can give it up tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. Before you know it you will be just another victim, found under his KRL with a 80-tooth flex-head in his cold dead hand.
Seriously, just say no and embrace reality with Facom/Hazet/Wera/Knipex etc.

Now that's a bit more like it. Looks sparkly clean compared to my workshop.

Nah pretty much stopped buying them a few years ago with the odd top up when I really need something and as the rest just keep on going, like I said they take some abuse and keep going.
Ive worked with guys who were still daily using the same snap on ratchet 40 years later, in fact their whole tool kit was ancient but still worked as intended.
Ive got the snap on flex ratchet not impressed, I actually like the cheap clarke one I bought to kick around the floor better, but even thought its 1/3 rd of the price of snap on it wont last 1/3rd the time/abuse, so in the end cheap tools work out dearer, but then we all know that.
Got several facom spanners the chrome came off (dangerous as like a razor) got facom ratchets they broke both of them, like lots of tools they cant take it when the going gets dirty, to be fair they might have got better but Im not spending out to find out they havent
Not keen on the knipex, I like channellock, they apparently make the pliers for snap on except they have red handles as opposed to their std blue ones.
Their nutbuster 410 pliers are very good.
Nothings perfect in life but if you make a living from your tools/kit then why not have the pleasure of using decent kit?
When you think about it probably less than 1 percent of people on this forum need a 4x4 the rest incl me wanted one and as we could afford one we bought a land rover where a much cheaper skoda/ford/vaux etc will do pretty much the same job just not as well, right tools for the job.
