United Kingdom 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3
AIRBAG LIGHT..

MOT.. recently passed.

600 mile road trip without fault - passed

Back to the commute blues and the Airbag light comes on.


The iid tool found two fault with he airbag system and looking online they seem to be quit vague/generic.?

With the fault s shown can the problem/fault be found or is it a case of giving a rough

place to look.

Any help[or advice appreciated New D3 Owner.. every day it starts is a bonus but any bongs or beeps are heart-stopping.

Hi Ev

My first point of call would be to check all of the connectors under the drivers and passengers seat to make sure nothing has Come undone.

If you do a search on here for clock spring it'll tell you a whole host of faults an fixes. My fix when the airbag light came on was to change the clock spring. Not a hard job just fiddly. Thumbs Up

I removed my audio amp under the seat which kicked off a Airbag alarm, just pushed the large connector at the front of the drivers seat and it cleared. Series 1 V8
Series 2 Hibrid V8
Discovery 3 HSE V8

I did give the car a good hooveing Last weekend and got all under the Seats.

Also I'm a large 5'10 and my partner is a small 4'11 so the drivers seat gets a fair bit of movement regularly.
