Morning all,
Just looking for your opinions really. I shortly plan to sell my beloved D4 by buying an advert in here. It's due a service at that time (has full dealer history) should I get it serviced or discount the price. I don't really want to sell it to a dealter because it's a really good car.
Thanks

I'd get it serviced as it shows to me that you have looked after it.
Also will give the buyer confidence as anything should have been picked up by the technicians.

Personally, when buying a second hand car, I like to see signs that it's been well looked after, and that includes timely servicing, ideally by a main dealer. On that basis, I'd get it serviced. GLWS Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

As your " beloved D4 " has a full dealer history, why not carry it on? That way if any probs arose you can rectify and sell with peace of mind

Agreed. Also have them check it over "pre-MOT", fix anything needed then get a new MOT with no advisories. ____

Thanks guys, appreciate your guidance. It was just the additional £500 for the service.
I'm going to bite the bullett and book a service in.
Thanks again
