No dipped beam hedlights(sorted)
Hi everybody, help needed if possible.
Nipped out to the garage and dipped beam ok.
Went into garage came out started back up turned lights on and no dipped beam on either side working. Rears all ok.
Any ideas please ?

Daft as it sounds, both bulbs could have failed , have you side lights, have you checked the fuses?Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Thanks for the reply beanie, all sorted. I know you are all gonna have ago at me, took it to halfrauds a few weeks ago to have a new bulb fitted (freezing cold night and had the flu) got them to fit 2 new,asked if they wanted the grill off to remove the headlight units but said they could do it without .
Give the lad his due he did the change without taking the units out .
Just taken the units out and found that the plugs hadn't been fitted on correctly and have melted.

Clowns ...... whatever you do, don't let them try to repair. Get someone skilled to do it and hand Halfrauds the bill.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. Just ordered some new ceramic holders. Will solder and heatshrink the wires onto the loom , will be going back to halfrauds tomorrow to see what they are gonna do.

Idiots they are ,After what the halfrauds done to my mates car I wouldn't trust them to fit an air freshener.My mate bought wiper blades and stupidly asked if they could fit them Some young lad took the blade off and let the arm go and it smashed the windscreen

Been in today, gave me all the cost back, 4 new bulbs and new plugs, supervisors comment was if I need anything else doing by them it's best to go between 0900 and 1600 because the experienced fitters are in then !
