Engine oil light staying on

Engine oil light staying on

Recently I've noticed the engine oil warning light on the dash has been staying on for about five seconds after starting. There is a oil temperature sensor in the sump (pictured). That was weeping oil around the connector.

Replaced it. Oil light no longer lingers on. Maybe coincidence?
