Hi all,
trying to find a reason why the disco sinks when parked overnight, i also get an amber suspension light and codes c1130 and c112f on iidtool.
After removing fuse26, the car does not sink at all, even if parked for 2-3 days.
would that imply that the leak is not from the springs?
can i get an indication of whats going on , by reading the live values in iidtool maybe?

Stavros i dont think you will get anywhere with your thoughts of the IDD tool as i dont think there is anywhere on the tool to read live values or find leaks but i do stand to be corrected you need to start looking around the air compressor and the air tank with some sort of fairy liquid substance to find your leak or at least eliminate them from the process it really is a suck it and see process of eliminating each and every component from the list of parts  Discovery 3 se gone

will certainly check with soap and water, just trying to understand how the system works, and if i should rule out the springs, due to the fact that its not sinking without the fuse

No they may be leaking you also have front and rear air valve blocks that are prone to leak do a search on here for them Discovery 3 se gone

have done a lot of reading , and i understand that if for example the front valve block was leaking, the car should be leaning forward in the morning with the fuse 26 out. thats not happening and thats why im so confused

I used an ultrasonic air leak detector (made by Alpine.....not car audio people)
This hears the noise of minute leaks from massive distances & above background noises

I didn't find any leaks from anything....Disco parked switched off......battery disconnected......engine on at various heights......the issue went away by itself (as they often do) BREXIT - done properly.

It also can lean from side to side as it splits the air left and right a ramp would be a good place to start with it in the air and you looking while its running to see if you can hear/sea anything obvious Discovery 3 se gone

Have a look through this might help you understand the different fuses and what they do as removing one fuse only stops power to the compressor

Best think to do it's clean out the dryer on the compressor to get rid of the white dust.
then Order these

and then clean out the front valve block and replace the seals.
If that doesn't help replace the seals in the middle air valve block

sprayed the springs, valve blocks, compressor area with soapy water, but no visible leaks
Any suggestions what to do next?
Thinking of getting the compressor out and clean up the dryer, and replace the exhause valve....i already have this part, thats why,

Yes that is a good idea. I suggested it before too
Valves can also leak internally (which won't be shown by soapy water)
Which is why I said you need to clean out the while dust, and may as well change the seals too

using iidtool live values would a valve show up as open , so i can narrow down which out of the 3 valve blocks has the problem?

Why dont you just look through the live values and see if anything actually shows up or email pat at gap to see if they have anything in there armour Discovery 3 se gone
