all the valves while the car is on the move show 0% (i assume it means they are closed) the rear left and sometimes the rear right change from 0% to 100% and after some seconds back to 0%. would that be normal?

been out with the iidtool.
corner valves are closed and open if you go to off road height then close back.
the only difference i noticed is that it takes longer for the front ones to open, compared with the rear ones. you can also tell that front end is getting up at a slower pace than the rear.....

due to the fact that the car sinks overnight when parked but will not sink if fuse 26 is removed, makes me think if the problem is between the air tank-compressor connections, although i could find no airleaks under the car with the soap water spray.

Check the pressure reading should be around 18 bar I have fault on mine and after looking for leak have found pressure to be 11bar change senor and still the same. It's the pump at fault low output

do you get the same faults, i.e c1130-66 and c112f-72 ?
they indicate a leak of a corner valve, thats why i havent thought of the compressor itself

The answer might be in the behaviour, as you mention: with the fuse removed, it doesn't happen.
So, if the corner valve is actuated (as it would be a few times overnight), and the compressor is NOT run again afterward, the corner bag slowly leaks. So the valve might not be closing properly when the gallery pressure is low. But when the car is running, so that the gallery pressure can get to the approx 18 bar that it does, the valve does close properly.
If the fuse is removed, the valve remains properly closed and doesn't have the opportunity to mess up its seal.

update, left it in access mode overnight, never done it before.
Woke up this morning, raised it to normal height and went for a spin.
No more erratic movements in gallery pressure, settled at 300kpa-ish and no more self-correcting all the time while stationary!!!!! i dont understand, no more amber light as well....
compressor kicks in 2-3 times / hour whereas before every 15-20 secs
and the ride has become much firmer now,
p.s maybe it comes back tomorrow, but even this would be very strange, as i did nothing apart from checking for leaks!!!

Hi,
I have tried the fuse out diagnosis on my 2007 d3. It sank on the drivers side front and back overnight. Is there a valve block somewhere which controls side to side or is it more likely to have two leaking springs? Great site btw, have already used the hole in tailgate trick to release upper gate!

2 leaks.
May not be the springs though.
