Does the IID tool work on a MY2016 D4? Just checking before I buy one as have been told the MY2016 CCF etc is different to the earlier models Thumbs Up

And mine, did check with Pat first before getting the licence changed as the Gap www at the time only went up to MY14 iirc.

Hopefully remote FBH activation is covered under the HVAC-Ventilation setting Confused I think I'll probably drop Pat a PM just to check first.

Can't remember where it is but that's what I activated, there's two bits that need done for it. Plus one touch superlocking and beep on lock/unlock.

Crib sheet from Rob Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up

Derek,

After our PMs this morning regarding why our (at least my) parking heat/timed climate wasn't working, I think I have found the reason.

After checking the correct CCF setting on my IID tool, one of the settings on mine was wrong.

I checked my settings against these here:

And after changing the incorrect setting, the manual heat (nav on only, engine off to warm the cabin) started working and the auto button started to pulse and the FBH fired up.

It was however very smokey and seemed to turn off after a couple of minutes. I'm not sure if it now has a fault, turned off as the door was open, or the cabin reached a certain temp, as it was reasonably warm in the sun!

From http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic151419.html?highlight= MY16 bits on last page. Thumbs Up

I've got a gap iid bt.

Does that mean if anyone on the forum near me needs there codes reading I can meet them, plug it in and read the codes and erase if necessary?

What else can I do on another discovery or Range Rover with my iid?

If so anyone near me can feel free to meet me when I'm available if ever they need to have their codes read etc.

Yes, you can read and clear codes on most modern LRs & some Jaaaaaaaags. Not sure of exact list though. Most useful feature. Thumbs Up

Re other features you'd need a license or pro version, stuff like service stuff and CCF edits. Thumbs Up

I've fitted remote kits to loads of MY16 D4 vehicles so it won't be a problem

You may panic when the Eco lights stays on after the update.
It will disappear once it's gone through a long sleep. Thumbs Up
