My v8 disco does about 25/30k mikes a year. I am getting 30+ miles to a gallon with it sat on the motorway. Not sure the diesels are much better than that?

I assume your are with the lorries at 56mph to get that figure Yawn

30mpg after remap on V8 sounds exaggerated. I can see 24mpg to 26 here an there.

I'm on new ATRs. It's cold here, with snow. But even without we're only getting 15-18 MPG on around town mileage. On long runs it's better. Note that these figures are off the computer rather than brim to brim. Apparently it's too difficult for my wife to keep the fuel receipts AND write down the mileage when filling up. I get one, or the other. Never both. Whistle

EDIT: That's US gallons, not proper British MPG.

So allowing for the lieometer and us gallons being smaller its probably 15-18mpg in imperial, about normal.

Hi Guys I have the Prinns LPG fitted also with the lube care runs like a dream. On a full tank of LPG which is 80 usable litres I covered 284 miles. 200 were motorway mixed driving between 50 mph and 80mph (dash said 23.4 mpg) and the rest were local round town which averages out at about 16/17mpg overall which I thought was great Laughing
So now wondering if remapping would make a big difference. Need to find someone local in south Yorkshire

I get around 235 miles to about 75 litres. normal running around and that stretches to 250 if I get on the a bit of dual carriageway/motorway in and down to 200 puling the tintent.

Thanks guys i know a supercharged is not as good on fuel but dont think i should be that different i either have a leak or my gauge is wrong as the lie-o-meter was telling me that i was doing around 20 mpg so something not telling me the truth each time i have filled it i am only able to get in 35-40 litres of gas which i think may be where my issue starts Thumbs Up

About the right mileage for the amount of fuel, so perhaps you just have a small tank. What type is it?
