Duckworth Service Video
My D4 is with Duckworth's for its annual service with the ever-helpful Dan doing the forum-friendly parts.
I've just received a link to a recorded video of the service with a useful commentary on the vehicle health check. Of course for me this is like getting my homework marked but it looks like I did ok!
Thankfully I received full marks on tyres, brakes, driveline and suspension with zero issues on the vehicle. He shared my opinion on the surface rust on the brake flexi pipes and duly found the seized fasteners on the undertray (added fun for the fuel filter change I am sure) which he has replaced with new bolts and clips.
I really like the idea of a video review of the vehicle, even if it does feel like I am at the headmaster's table.
Apparently my D4 is now being washed - handy as apart from the lights and number plates my D4 is shockingly dirty!

I took the in laws FFRR for its 3rd year service 2 weeks ago to Guy Salmon Stockport state of the art facility drive through drop off, plush showroom , coffee bar and I got nothing like that !!
All I got was a 1.75 hour wait to take the car home even though they rung me to say it was ready for collection
Glad to see that Duckworths are doing some thing different to the main stream dealers MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

And who pays for the new facility...
I think Gareth has stopped using them since they moved, I only ever used them (twice) when they were at the old site, thought they were OK

I did try Williams in Manchester, but they were no better than GS to be honest. And they were just as expensive. The last work I had done at GS a few months ago, and was happy with the outcome. They were pretty helpful with the warranty negotiations.
I got a video from GS when our Jag was serviced.

Picked up an immaculately clean D4 and the only comment on the service paperwork was how dirty the vehicle was - I could go off Duckworths! Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

How dirty was it for them to mention it on the paperwork

Action shots from Duckworth's video - it is pretty clear to anyone that my D4 is blue:

Admittedly the underneath is slightly cleaner:
