| D4 2 year Warranty question |

Morning all,
Can somebody let me know what are the restrictions with LR 2 year warranty on a used D4?
I'm assuming that the Disco would need to be serviced at a main LR dealer, but anything else to look out for? (Nothing spotted yet, just wandering if I did see one)
I'm also guessing that any 'Crank'/engine issue will be covered by this comprehensive 2 year wty?

Crank will be covered
Servicing - any claim would be looked at in a better light if main dealer used but it shouldn't matter so long as its done by a VAT registered garage with Genuine LR parts and service schedule followed to the letter.

I was talking about the free 2 year warranty you get from LR when you buy a 2nd hand car from them - no idea on what they charge to extend sorry  Iggy/Ieuan

You can extend for a third year at the point of purchase - I think it cost about £800 on SWMBOs D4. That includes MOT cover and Europe wide breakdown/assist service also. That means if you go above the 100k limit you are still covered. Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

We took just over £17k out of our 3 year LR warranty on the D3 over more than 100k miles - it worked well for us at least Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

Hi,
and it's not Landrover but Car care that operate it 
first responce for the fuel gauge reading zero ( a known issue) was NO not warranty, dealer pushed it and it did get passed
wear and tear not covered
New FBH just fitted so may be had £700 of work done
Does not have to be serviced by main dealer but to schedule and VAT registered
