discovery 3 centre console and dash elumination not working

Hi could not post into faults and fixes
my discovery console and dash elumination are not working every thing else is?
looked at the fuses seam ok f39
any body got any ideas?

Looked at all the fuses under bonnet but the ones in the dash are hard to get at
Any idea which one is the console and nobs ellumination one?

probably not a fuse.

Could be a back connection

Why don't you list everything that doesn't light up.

try giving the center dash a thump in the side with your fist and see if it brings it back to life, that method seems to work on everything else !

yes the gear selector shows what selection you are in I.E drive, reverse etc

none of the buttons have back illumination in the back or on the doors nothing on the centre console nothing on the dash so can not see the speedo in the dark? but every thing else works the heater lights dim when you switch the lights on.
tried a new switch and dimmer nothing changed?

Got light problem fixed.
It was a damaged wire on the back left audio plug harness rubbing on the metal side panel!
Would have thought the fuse would have blown but it didn't?
Well seams ok now with a bit of tape over damage!
