Egr blanking advice

Hi guys, can you tell me if I can blank the egr's on my 2008 d3 2.7 without it bringing the engine management light on? Thanks

I thought this was the case. Have an egr down - think I'll replace it.

The patch is only £150 + VAT.... If you replace the valve you'll be paying a similar amount & the problem will return sooner or later.... Rolling Eyes

Better off to blank and have the patch. I've had it done on my 08 and not had a problem even at mot time Thumbs Up D4 MY15 SE TECH
D3 gone but never forgotten.
