At least you got the call when I went in to collect mine, they said didn't you get a call to say it was on order. Luckily after a bit of to and froing, they realised they had one that was over due for collection and let me have that.==================================

Had a similar last year. They always seem to come good though. when I went to collect the checkout lady said I had missed the deal, manager came and said it's fine and fiddled with the till. I walked out looked at the receipt and realised he had rung the discount through against everything not just the tool on offer MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Indeed on the same visit they replace my broken 1/2 600mm breaker bar without a second thought, well she did say I won't ask what you were doing with it ==================================

I'm in a similar situation, when ordered for click-and-collect I'm sure it showed as stock in store.
But when confirmation came through it said it would be available to collect on Friday, and they would keep it for me till Monday. (ordered on the Tuesday night)
So went in to collect on Friday evening, after waiting around and the assistant going back and forward between the till/computer and the back of the store, was told; Sorry it's not in yet, it's on its way and will be here by mid-day tomorrow.
So I went back mid-afternoon on Saturday and a different assistant went running about again looking for it and came back and said it "must" be outside in their storage container so hold on for 30 mins or so and someone will get it. I said I'll come back and went to other shops. Got a phone call after 10 minutes to say they can't find it and they're trying to track it and will phone me straight back. 3 hours later I get the call-back; They still aren't sure where it is but it should arrive on Monday and they will let me know whenever it arrives....
Still not heard anything.

Just an other word of warning when collecting your tool boxes from Halfords. Check them for damage in store, as it is a bit of a pain to get home to only have to return them back to store if damaged and these boxes are heavy!!! 2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography

I went to pick mine up last Saturday to be told it was in transit - and they would call - but still no call so I'm going to pop in again today as I need to get some other bits and bobs anyway.Mark.
