If you're a CostCo member Del you can give Michelin Stealth a try - I've got them on my D3 and her motor as well.

So far so good - no noise or juddering.

Think they're about £5.80 each - so around £11.60 a pair.

Not got a rear one yet - they weren't listed in the Michelin catalogue and I couldn't remember the size....

As above I've got the Michelin Stealth's from Costco. I've had them for 6 months without any issues. I can't fault the price either.

SpiderBaby the rear is 16" for next time your there. Thumbs Up

Unfortunately not a member of Costco, plus the nearest is Croydon so a bit of a pig to get to. Sad

Del, buy them from eBay as suggested.
I've been using cheapo wipers for the last 5 years and there's nothing wrong with them. I laugh every time I read a thread suggesting to spend stupid money on Bosch or any other designer style rip offs.

I figured If I bought some and they were crap, I've lost hardly anything. I also figured if they didn't last very long, I could easily afford to replace them two or three times a year and still be quids in on the expensive brands. I've done neither.
For the money they cost, I replace them as a matter of course when winter starts each year but each time, the ones I remove are still perfectly serviceable so buy the cheapos with confidence.

As a fellow tight bar steward you'll know this all makes sense. Thumbs Up

I put Bosch blades on my Focus 10 years ago and they're still going strong. They work brilliantly from -40 to +40C and at 135mph (and lower speeds). Would definitely consider them again when the time comes in the D3.

I put on a pair of very cheap ones to try them, and they didn't wipe the top 2" of the arc on the driver's side.

Swapped out for Bosch ones (purchased at the same time) and they wipe that area perfectly.

Del, I bought these this time around.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301206159934?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT I paid a pound less too. Laughing
Never had the problem Martin mentioned, in fact, I've never had a problem with the budget wipers at all.

I like them, can't see a problem at all. Thumbs Up
