United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Bonatti GreyDiscovery 3

I have run a 5" Garmin unit mounted in a D3 bezel and it is a great upgrade. To keep it simple I stuck the Garmin in with a hot glue gun and it hasn't moved in 2 years. It is removable with a bit of force and heat (have done another for a friend), so you can always refit the OEM system if desired and the bezel remains unaltered. Just use lots of glue!

I took a power feed from the cigarette lighter socket so the Garmin comes on/off automatically with the ignition. I actually ran a double socket there and fed the second lead up the A pillar for a dashcam while I was at it.

A lot of the Garmins have an external AV input so are ideal to hook up a reverse camera, but I never got round to that mod.
