Remap
Hi. I know there are older posts about this subject but looking possibly to have a remap done this year on 05 D3. I'm in devon and have seen on previous postings that someone comes out too you rather than taking disco to them?
As far as I'm aware, it is unmodified at moment and would be nice to have a bit more'grunt' acceleration etc. I don't want the remap to affect towing (i.e. don't want to loose towing power).
Can anyone recommend remapping or have any other comments to do with remapping

BAS and alive are the most popular here, I have a BAS and helps improve the car.

Thanks for that. So would you say it is very noticable and rough idea of costs? Is the remap done on the vehicle with standard parts still in place e.g. standard intercooler?

I had a BAS remap on my last Sport, made a huge difference, made the 2.7 driveability pretty near a 3.0. also had BAS EGR blanking as well.In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar

As above and yes all done with standard parts in place. Although I also have emulators and patch done on mine too.

I dithered for a number of years until Bodsey came along and put a remap on it, wish I had it done years ago, can't recommend it enough, completely transforms the vehicle, saved me a fortune in not buying a D4, certainly the cheapest way to get near if not equal D4 performance. Don't go for a cheapo remap it may be expensive long run, go for tried and tested Like BAS or Alive Tuning and blanked EGRs, don't worry about towing, it will be vastly improved. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I have an Autologic remap, took it to 240 BHP. Been on for 6 years now. Best mod I had done. Still goes like stink when necessary and the MPG has consistently been low 30s, not with the lieometer eitherNick

I should add I ran the BAS first off emulators, they worked perfectly, I also ran the BAS EGR software patch, as expected from BAS, no problems. Plus its easy to remove and reinstall the Remaps via the Diagnostic socket on the 2.7.
Thinking about it, I still have the BAS Remap Interface laying about some place. My Sport is still under Land Rover Warranty, so no remap, especially as the ECU has to be opened. I thought by now someone would have cracked this. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar
