AMK Compressor Mean Time Between Failure?

Disco 3 on an 05 plate 96k miles diesel. Colour= black Wink

About 5 years ago I had the Hitachi compressor replaced with an AMK due to failure. 18 months ago the reserve tank was replaced along with one of the pipes to the front of the car. Other than that it's all been quite good. If it's the compressor then I'd be a bit surprised if the mean time between failures on the AMK compressor didn't exceed the much derided Hitachi?

Last Friday the car was getting an MOT and service in the local garage, which has done so for the past 8 years. I noticed on the weekend that I occasionally had the "Suspension Fault Normal Height Only" message on the dash and the Orange wobbly car icon.

It doesn't come on all the time and when it does can happen immediately or 30 minutes later. The car height looks OK, it's not sagging or anything and when there's no light, the car raises and lowers as well as it has ever done.

So, could this be sensor related, given that the car was on a ramp while being serviced and also had a front link rod replaced? Does the suspension height need to be re-set after this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance.
