Disco3 alarm keeps going off
Hi. I've found that my feable alam keeps going off today.
I've checked all the doors, bonnet & tailgate and they are closed fully, no fies or bees in the cabin but I have noticed that when I initially unlocked the car after the alarm activation, the indicators blinked 6 times
After locking again (3 flashes) and unlocking again (1 flash)
Is this supposed to tell me something?
Many thanks.

I had this problem, which was solved by replacing the bonnet switch. It was very intermittent and the old switch seemed fine (even checked by the Guava techs), but a new one has cured it. Bought from Advanced Factors.Darren

If it detects an open door etc upon locking, I thought it beeped the horn once.
When mine was going off randomly, a new bonnet switch cured it

Is there anyway to tell which 'sensor or switch' triggered the last alarm ?

6 flashes on disarm means the alarm has been triggered since the vehicle was locked. Obviously you knew this because you heard it. If you would like the alarm to be louder, unplug the sounder. Doing this activates the horns instead of the sounder Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Our D3 alarm keeps going off but seems to be only when the sun's out and warm or if loud noise nearby e.g. shutting another car boot.
Should I try bonnet switch for these symptoms ?

Dj thats exactly when mine did it. The contact inside the sensor is a metalic coiled metal strip, it might be suceptible to heat. Unscrew the plate and clean the inside, takes about five mins, mines seems sorted, touch wood Current - Range Rover TDV8 2007 HSE.

This has been on my "to do" list for a while, new design part - LR065340 from Advanced Factors (Site Sponsor), usual excellent service from Steve @ AF. Not that expensive and only a few minutes to replace, kicking myself for not doing it earlier !.
