Only driven back from dealer, got belts and service to do before any big runs to test everything out properly, I know there is a fault with susp and low range selection but think its a switch pack for susp and motor for low range has never been used so prob needs cleaned out.2008 Discovery 3 2.7 HSE

It's great to see an original D3 still as the designer intended. The iconic colour / trim / specification heavily used during the launch of the vehicle, with good reason.

That's a nice looking motor.
I hope it's not too much of a pain to sort out the gremlins. Don't forget to have the oil pump changed when the belts are done.Simon.

I notice that it's an 07 model, if you're planning to do the belts then make sure you also change the Oil pump casing as you're in the right year for it to fail and kill your engine! (Sorry to scare you)
It'll only cost you a few hundred quid on top of the belts, but will save you potentially thousands

Weirdly, last night I dreamt I still had my D3 - loved that car, first 4X4, first LR
