Not sure about the D3, but don't you have to hold the fob under the steering column to sync it again?

Really sorry to hear about your cat. 19 years is a fantastic age for a mog, and I bet you have some great memories.

As for your car, I'm not sure. The only cause of what you describe that I have experienced is a corroded wire in the left side floor area.

So at least today I finally got the replacement carbon brushes for our Bosch Logixx 8 washing machine which hit F43 code on New Years Eve, simple fix, but finding the reset code afterwards was a hassle finally via the German web blog Hack Team. Not being able to lock the Disco is a relatively small pressure compared to 11 days washing from a family of 5, of which 3 are women. Common guys more ideas, lets sort this out Mr. Green

So its not fuse F43 (RF transmitter) which would be the lost likely culprit, would a hard battery reset help at all ??

yes, both the same and both working perfectly before, issue is door key doesn't work either as we have never used it before so its jammed , central locking from all interior buttons is fine

But the RF receiver virtually never blows, any way I can check if the key are emitting 455 MHZ FR signal ? is there an app for this ?

So back on the case today, took out the battery for 20 minutes, did a hard reset & switched around relay R13 and doubled checked all the fuses - no joy. Manual door key didn't still work either despite mucho WD40 sprayed down the key hole.

So I thought I would revisit the sill wire splice, my soldering job from 18 months ago was still truly perfect, no water either as I dealt with all the drain pipes accordingly then too.

However, I took apart the 3 wire splice and resoldered it and you know what suddenly everything all works again. Genuinely don't think the electrical connection was faulty in any way this way but somehow taking apart & putting back the wires resynched the RF transmitter with both keys & the seats etc even more strange the manual door lock works now too !!

THANKS GUYS Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
