Lost drive around corners
Hi,
I've had a knock in the D3 rear for a couple of days and now it's gone away but the problem of losing drive around corners is now happening. I've read the posts and checked tyre pressie red which were about 27psi so I've sorted that to factory level but it's almost got worse. Any ideas what else it could be ? I've turned off the DSC also but still seems the same.
Thanks as always.

If it is power being cut , could be Steering angle sensor calibration even with DSC off. Any warning lights flashing when it happens and is it only turning one way or left and right corners.

Ok cheers. Seems to be more so when going right turn but then even after straightening up is not wanting to drive so I slow down almost to a stop and then can drive off. Where is the steering angle sensor located and how do i calibrate.
Thanks

It could be the Linkage on the outside of the gearbox try lubing it with WD40 or similar....

The above was what caused mine to lose drive on corners. Bought a new linkage but never fitted as lubing it cured it and it's still fine 2 yrs later.VR6 > 330D Touring > D3 HSE > !?XC90?!

Thanks guys that's exactly what it seems to have been. Gave it a good spray and it's all good. I will order the replacement linkage though but it certainly seems to be fixed.
Thanks again. Love the forum
