[Wanted] D3 or D4 with active rear differential
Hi, looking for D4 but will consider D3. Must have active rear differential. If anyone knows of one for sale please give me a shout. Cheers.

Why? Never been anywhere that my standard (non active rear diff) D3 hasn't managed to go where an active rear has..

Not wishing to hijack this thread but could someone explain the advantages of an active rear diff please

the locking rear diff will go places with less effort and wear and tear than the non locking version.
but, without it you will still get places , just with more effortDuncan

I know it’s a old thread but will a disco 4 e diff fit a disco 3 as I have probs with mine and found a d4 one failey cheap and low

Thanks bodsey reason I ask is I filled mine through wrong hole and have error messages now
And don’t know if I can fix it as the bolt I took out has a 2-3 cm shalft on and looks like it holds something in place like
