barratts canterbury?
anyone used then before? I recovered my car there after checking they could fit me in and they've spent 11 days saying "hopefully tomorrow" before now saying 12th October.
slightly frustrating..... is this normal service?

Oh dear....
I used Barretts at Ashford and now go to Guy Salmon at Aylesford. I have to travel a further 35 miles and right past Barretts door step................................ but hey ho the service is worth it.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I'll not bore everyone with the utterly disastrous experience I've had over the past two months however as part of "goodwill' they sold me extended bars at cost and fitted for free (£380!) Evidently I'm not the first person to enjoy the bars - selling second hand parts as new has to be of dubious legality right?

My experience with Canterbury... Had some issues when I ordered the car from them. Went there for its first service. Despite them checking it over for a Adblue error message they forgot to refill the Adblue and it had to go back again. Thinking about whether to go back there again, but there's no other dealers close.Gary

Oh yes there is Guy Salmon at Aylesford, they will come and collect and deliver as part of the service, excellent service had from them for several years now. PM me if you want some contact details with the person to speak to.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Further update on Barratts Canterbury. I discovered they overfilled my oil when they did the first service as well as forget to top up the adblue. It wont be going back there again.Gary

I also take my Discovery to Guy Salmon Aylesford, much more inconvenient than Baratts, but worth it to avoid them. My defender is not serviced by Barratts and when I still had the XF, I traveled miles out of my way to have someone other than Barratts Jaguar service it.
