2 Stroke Oil for none DPF Diesel |
|
Bought some of this to add to my none DPF D3 tank.
20L 2 STROKE ENGINE OIL MANNOL Agro API TC JASO FB 20 LITERS HIGH QUALITY
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302152290084?ssP...rmvSB=true
Had an email from Mannol this morning confirming it is mineral based and not fully synthetic as mentioned on the 2T oil sticky thread. If anybody local wants to share in my 20L I'm happy to do it at cost if you bring along a container as it will take me a couple of years to get through it.
Do let me know if you think there's a problem before I chuck it in my tank and I'll start approaching local farmers and tree surgeons

I'm down to about 5 litres from a 20 litre drum, have had no issues and car runs clean and strong (most of the time). I think the issue is with the fully synthetic mixing properly with the diesel fuel, mineral does, fully synthetic may not so you have the right stuff.

My only concern was that it's says for garden equipment. But I guess if the spec is right and it's mineral what the heck! I found a spec sheet that says it's suitable for mini tractors and generators too.

These days, 2 stroke engines appear in very little else.

I've been trawling through the posts on this and come across ...this
What do you think? JASO FD semi synth. OK for a D4 with or without a DPF?
And just £26 for 5 litres - seems cheap enough

Do a search on Fleabay for JABSPARES.
About £50 for 20 litres.
