Suspension how long should it stay up ? |
|
In fear of my oil pump failing I've stopped using my car. It's now been stood on the drive for 5 days and yesterday noticed the suspension level had dropped slightly and tonight looks to be all the way down.
How long should these cars stay at the correct height for ??? Do they all drop after some time ? Discovery 3 2007 HSE

They self level every few hours when stood - so any leak in one or other corner results in the car dropping to the deck eventually. If they have no leaks, then they should stay up indefinitely.
The way to test it is to disconnect the battery and leave it. The end/side will indicate where any leaks are. Mark.
