Not an uncommon issue unfortunately. Usually getting the water leak stopped and CJB dry again helps enormously.

Lots of threads on the forum regarding the best drying methods.

TILT! Embarassed This is getting a bit technical now, I just thought I needed some new bulbs!

Is this just another thing I'll have to live with?

(Thanks for all the input - you guys certainly now your stuff!)

No, not something to live with as water and electrickery don't mingle well at parties. There are other potential causes but water ingress into the CJB/BCM is arguably the most common. Poor or corroded grounds is another potential source of your woes, but start at the CJB.

Really sorry - I feel like I'm taking your time up with being thick.

But I'm not sure now why we are talking about water ingress? Embarassed

Are you saying that the problem with the headlights is because of corroded contacts in central junction box? What does that mean and what do I do? Sorry this is my first D3 so I am a complete novice, if you have time to direct me to a thread that can give me more info I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again for all the help.
