How much space behind the satnav screen?

So the crappy stereo and satnav is all going next week to be replaced by something from this millenium Twisted Evil

(will all be for sale in a week or two!)

Quick question..

If the satnav screen comes out - is there enough space there to mount a small CB radio - using some sort of blanking plate?

It's currently mounted in the glove box but doesn't quite fit..

It's this one. Had it for yonks..

You'll have a big hole if you remove the nav, but I think there's enough room for that rig. I assume it's not going to be hidden, so the front of the rig will be on the 'shelf' in front of the nav screen. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Yeah it's that or the other thing I was thinking about was mounting an ipad mini there?

I am intending to use that for OS mapping etc (already installed) anyway. Hiding it seems neat.

Keep hearing about D4 screen mods but nothing come of it. D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
