I have to agree with DM its so simple now, I did a suspension recalibration the other day and it took 10 mins to complete, great work and the best support I have ever had.

Pat, when I start the update, it shows there's a 'Special' firmware for Nav on Move - can this be applied to the 2011 D4 models?

Hi Guys

Thanks Rob Thumbs Up

Guided suspension: It is indeed one huge improvement. The old method was a bit more time involving but this new one is much easier. Anyone who can use a tape measure can recalibrate. We had used SDD a while ago to see how it went and it's an even greater improvement.

If none of the height sensor was removed or replaced, we can assume the original calibration made at the factory is correct. If a height change was made using the IIDTool, simply use the Height--Default button to return to your original height when the tool was first connected. If a height sensor was removed or replaced, the guided calibration shall be used. When in doubt, a guided calibration wont do no harm.

Thanks
We do cover the basics on later Jags (XF, F-Type, XK...) but there are still items to be added. We will unfortunately not cover the S-Type due to its older electrical architecture.

Is this update for all IID versions?
Mostly for the IIDTool BT. The non BT units second hardware generation do benefit from some additions and bug fixes.

The 2010+ vehicle NAV cannot be accessed via the diagnostic port therefore we cannot enable the NOM.

Make sure you are at 2444 (release) or 2448 (beta, Defender additions).

Quote:

The special firmware is to enable destination entry while on the move for 2004-2009 vehicles (L322 2005+, L319, L320).

thanks for clarifying, Pat.

One more question: in the manual, the screenshots show Default height to be 0. When I load the app, it shows mine to be 1.

should I do a calibration?
