torque converter
Looks like my torque converter is on its way out. car is at 121k miles and have all the symptoms etc.
What i would like to know is do I need a whole new converter or is there a part inside I can just change ? likewise is there anyone that does a refurb exchange if I do need a new one. I think previous threads suggest a cost of £600+ for a new one ?

It's an auto and have a judder from 1700 - 2500 rpm more pronounced on an incline. Likewise revs fluctuate around the 2000 rpm. Also feels like the clutch slipping around 2000 rpm although it's an auto ! If you know what I mean !
