PDC sensor fault

I live in Northampton and my LR3 has developed the parking sensor fault, and it says the front parking things not working, so with all the rain we have just had im kinda guessing that one or more of the sensors has had it, ive had this same issue with a new shape ford galaxy in the past,

but after reading some posts online its seems that it could be a front or the back sensor thats gone bad,

So my question is , Is there anyone here that lives Local'ish to me that i could pop by and see if they have a code reader that will tell me which sensor it is ?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Do a search about parking sensors. You can listen for the clicking when they are operating.

After starting the engine and putting in reverse do you have any information showing on main instrument cluster? Like front parking sensors faulty?

It could also be a damaged loom - especially if it tends to happen when it's been raining a lot. Pop the front bumper off and take a look at the state of the wiring. Mine was very crusty in places.

Thanks MikeO, I managed to find out which one it was last night, i activated the system and walked round the car and put my ear to the sensors, I found the front nearside inner was not clicking, So I've ordered a new one on ebay for £14 thats got a lifetime warranty, Laughing , I may just order another 3 and replace the whole lot and keep the said 3 that work as spares for the rear should they go, I will be inspecting the loom whilst i'm in there,
